The Pinnacle Club is a group of DFA members who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to food safety and quality throughout the calendar year.
Pinnacle Club Criteria
In order to be considered apart of the Pinnacle Club, a member must participate in both audits (either 2 GMP audits or 1 FSMA audit and 1 GMP audit). This participation allows the facility to receive a third-party audit certificate upon the completion of the audit calendar year. To receive a distinguished Pinnacle Club plaque, a member must demonstrate excellent performance and score in both audits.
We've Updated Our Member Audit Program
It’s been a long time coming, but we have officially updated the GMP audit checklist from 21 CFR 110 to 21 CFR 117. The most significant difference between the 21 CFR 110 and 21 CFR 117 is that the FDA now expects proactive enforcement of standards versus reactive enforcement.
